"June: Shallow Depth of Field" Clickin Moms Blog Circle

This month's challenge focused on a shallow depth of field but I also wanted to focus on capturing my family's everyday life. I loaded up my girls and headed to a local park.

My 2 year old, who usually loves to swing, wanted nothing to do with it during our park visit. I had to resort to just taking pictures of her feet so that you would not see her whining face. :) I love the DOF in this picture!

My oldest and (typically) most willing model. I love how the light captured her eyes so beautifully and the shallow DOF made for a nice soft creamy background.

My middle daughter, the silliest of them all. She is always ready for a good laugh.

Now head over to Linnea Ingrid Photography to see her take on our shallow depth of field challenge.

Great examples of shallow DOF! I love them all, plus it looks like you guys had fun (minus the whining face - been there, done that!). The light in your oldest's eyes is gorgeous as is that creamy, dreamy background. Great work!

Love the bokeh in the first shot and the laughter is so contagious in the last one that I was smiling right along with her.
